Beginning operation in April of this year, the Aoniyoshi is a new sightseeing limited express train. Its interior is decorated and furnished to evoke the history and culture of Nara's capital 1,300 years ago, taking passengers on a historical journey. Also onboard, there is a sales counter where passengers can purchase sweets and other goods available exclusively on the train.
